I have not used Chem-Dry for several years but am glad I had them clean my carpets this time. I had purchased my own carpet shampooer to save money since we have a small dog and grand kids. After I cleaned the rug, the result was good and not that much work but I was surprised to see how much soap residue the Chem-Dry person pulled out of my carpet this time. I couldn't believe they were able to get these 15 year-old carpets as clean as they did. Pet stains, spills, ground-in dirt; they were almost like new. Well, as new as they could be at 15 years.
